ATLAS ANNUAL CONFERENCE, LISBON | 2015

Next 20-23 October, the  University of Lisbon  will host and organize the ATLAS Annual Conference  2015. The scientific programme of this international conference includes: 3 keynote speakers, a full day doctoral seminar, several parallel sessions and Special Tracks, all under the umbrella topic of "Risk in Travel and Tourism: geographies, behaviours and strategies".

TERRiTUR is a research group on Tourism, Culture and Space, hosted at the Centre for Geographical Studies / Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning / University of Lisbon (Portugal).

IGOT-ULisboa is a new organizational unit integrated in the Strategic Area of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon. It is composed by the Centre for Geographical Studies and the Department of Geography, the largest and oldest in the country, and a reference in advanced geographical education.
 
The Centre for Geographical Studies (CEG), founded in 1943, is the most prestigious national Research Unit within the fields of Geography and Spatial Planning. Nowadays, with 200 researchers – 78 of which with a PhD – CEG-ULisboa is the foremost institution in geographical research and dissemination in Portugal and a well-known research centre at a European level.
